Information about the central train station in Fussa, Japan.

Fussa Station

Fussa Station

Fussa Station is at the heart of downtown Fussa. It sees about 16,000 passengers a day and is on the Ome Line that goes between Tachikawa to the south and Ome to the north. There are also special expresses that run from the station all the way to Tokyo Station to the East; the right train can get you to downtown Tokyo in just over an hour. These trains leave every half an hour, otherwise passengers can take a train to Tachikawa and switch to other local destinations there.

Fussa Station is surrounded by a heavily commercial area, including the Seiyu (a five story grocery and home goods store), several convenience stores, and many independent restaurants. Taxis are available on the south side of the station. There are several parking lots around the station for both cars and bicycles. There are several all-day spots for 700 yen, but most of the spots run about 300 yen per hour. If you park in one of two lots that surround the Seiyu, they will validate parking for 2 hours’ worth of time.

To reach from the Fussa Gate: Walk straight until you reach a ‘Y’. Take the right path. Take a right past the 7/11 and the station will be on your left.
