Higashi-Fussa Station

Higashi-Fussa Station is the closest train station to base, about a 5-minute walk from the main gate. It runs on the Hachiko Line (this is the same line that subsects the west side of Yokota Air Base). Trains run through about every half an hour and run between Hachioji and Komagawa. This is commonly a lesser used station because its line runs west and north, away from Central Tokyo.

The station is unmanned. There are taxis available on the north side of the station, but there is little to no parking. This station is also ideal for heading to Yokohama or Yokuska as passengers can switch in Hachioji to the Yokohama line. Also be aware that there are no elevators or escalators present at this station.

To reach from the Fussa Gate: Take a right along Route 16. Take a left when you pass a building that is covered in mustard yellow tiles. It will be directly ahead.
