Though it may seem overwhelming at first, traveling by train in Tokyo is quite easy once accustomed to and relatively cheap. There are four train stations in Fussa: Haijima Station, Ushihama Station, HIghashi-Fussa Station, and Fussa Station. All four operate Japan Railways lines (JR).
Regular passengers can purchase Suica cards from an automated terminal for 500 yen, which then can be loaded with money to be used for entering and exiting stations easily, as well as used at special vending machines and some convenience stores. Passengers can also buy tickets for the exact trip they are willing to take at the kiosk. All JR kiosks should have an option for English in the upper right of their screens.
