Haijima Station and its surrounding area have recently been renovated, making it among the most modern looking stations in Western Tokyo. It is also a large hub, serving the Ome Line, the Itsukaichi Line, the Hachiko Line, and the Seibu Haijima Line.

The station backs up to a small alley filled with a variety of shops. In the station, there are a variety of bakeries, a few restaurants (including a KFC), a bookstore, and convenience stores. There are escalators and elevators on both sides of the station.

You can reach Haijima station by heading south on Route 16. It will be on your left after the bridge crosses the train tracks.
