Interlibrary Loan & Document Delivery

EFFECTIVE 1 APR 2020: Yokota Library is suspending interlibrary loan service to include both borrowing and lending.  Thank you for your continued patience and support as we all adapt to the new normal.

 

Need a book, audiobook or DVD the Library does not have? Fill out an Interlibrary Loan Request Form and drop it off at the Library. Please give us at least 30 days notice to request items. Due to mail times, we cannot state how long it will take to receive requested materials from Libraries in the U.S.

Library Accounts

Getting an Account:

Visit the Library and fill out our application form.
We do Family Accounts with all items being checkout to the Sponsor.
The sponsor is responsible for all materials checked out on the account.
Contact the library to replace an item.
You must live in the local area to register for an account.

Who Is Eligible:

Active Duty & Reserve Military and family members
DoD & DoDEA Civilians and family members
Retired Military and family members
Japanese Nationals assigned to Yokota AB
Japanese Defense Forces assigned to Yokota AB

Dependents 11-17 years may be added to the family account with sponsors signed permission.

Study Spaces

WE PRACTICE SOCIAL DISTANCING!

  • Research area has six 2-person tables
  • Study Quiet Room has two 2-person tables and individual carrels for quiet study
  • Conference Room 1: available to reserve; up to 10 people; face masks required.  Room 3 (FKA Typing Room): available to reserve; up to 2 people; face masks required.

Meeting Rooms

  • Conference Room 1: available to reserve; up to 10 people; face masks required. 
  • Room 3 (FKA Typing Room): available to reserve; up to 2 people; face masks required.
