We do not yet have news about the Children's/YA centrally funded points plan. Once that information becomes available you will be notified.

AF SRP will not be sponsored by UTR this year. 

FY23 SRP incentives and materials have started arriving. If you have any issues such as missing items/shipments please email Nikkie Sierra. Do not email contacts at the Navy with issues.

  • If you need to add a new point of contact for Beanstack it must be done through this Google form which is submitted to the Navy. 
  • FY23 Beanstack DoD sites are now ready
    • An email went out to all POCs. Check your junk folder if you do not see your email and you are listed as a POC.
      • The email contains information on logging in, setting up your Beanstack site, and links to training videos


On Demand Training Sessions:

                *             Challenge editing for Beanstack Library Administrator <> : This session will walk you step by step through the items that need to be updated prior to the start date of summer reading.

                *             Staff Essentials for DoD Installations <> : This session will cover the basic staff workflow for DoD Installations and should be watched by all of those that work with the public.

                *             Alternatively, you may access and download the training videos as MP4 files through Loom.

DoD Library Administrator Guide:

  • The 2023 Admin Site Setup Guide <>  has been updated to mirror the requirements for this season. Use this information to tailor your site and reading challenges as needed for this summer.


Summer Reading Program requirements:

  • Run a minimum of 6 weeks running concurrently anytime between 15 May to 11 September.
  • All ages included.
  • Minutes read must be logged/tracked through Beanstack.
  • Must be operated by the library. 
  • Track events and event participation through your SRP tracker spreadsheet and turn in at the conclusion of your program.
