DIY Journals

Sign up and make a personalized journal! Use it as a place for all of your incredible artwork, a scrapbook, or use it to press all the interesting leaves or plant you find out on the trail. Journals have so many creative uses, find out where your pages take you.

Scavenger Hunt

It's time to use those tracking skills and that 11lb problem-solver (aka. your noggin) to hunt down some treasure. Can you read a map? Well you're gonna learn. 

 

Parental Advisement: By nature of this activity, participants will be traveling around base on foot. If you are not comfortable with your child doing so alone, maybe consider joining them on their hunt.

BYO(build your own) Birdhouse

Give a little back to nature by providing a nice birdhouse for some birdies. Once built, you will get the chance to decorate your birdhouses as you wish. All supplies will be provided.

Hoist Your Colors!

It's survival of the summer camps! Compete in to see who's summer camp is superior. You'll name your camp and make your own camp flag, then we'll see who's colors are the last to fall. 

 

Please wear shoes you don't have a problem running in!

Mad Lib Theater

A number, a group of animals, an adjective, a female name... Let's make something outrageously funny and unexpected. Costumes and props will be provided.

For those that are unfamiliar with Mad Lib Theater. Someone has made a theatrical scene but has left a few words blank. You ask someone who has no idea what the scene is about to fill in the missing words, then we all put on a very silly informal performance.
